About
About SWAT Recreation
A higher-quality, organized recreation program for youth boys and girls in Northern Weber County — where skills, structured training, and a fun, organized atmosphere come standard.
Our Mission
Rec soccer without the chaos.
There's nothing more frustrating than not knowing who your coach is, what team your child plays on, or when games start — only to find out the day before the first game. At SWAT Recreation, we've taken the frustration out of rec soccer.
Teams are organized first by school, then balanced for fair, equal play. Schedules are set and parents are contacted in advance of the season. No tryouts, no cuts — everyone learns, everyone has fun, and it's open to all.

The SWAT Rec Promise
What every family gets
Planned ahead
Team assignments emailed 2–3 weeks before the season. Schedules posted online about 10 days out — with an email the moment they're live.
Fully outfitted
Full uniform kit (jersey, shorts, socks) included with registration, distributed by coaches 1–2 weeks before the season.
School-based teams
Teams organized primarily by school, so your child plays with classmates and friends — then balanced for fair play.
Real development
Organized, coached games with the same team and coach for fall and spring — structured play, not just a pickup game.
A human to ask
Our Recreation Director is available to answer questions. Check the FAQ first — then reach out anytime.
Open to everyone
No residency requirement. If you can get to our fields in Weber County, your child can play.
Good to Know
The details, up front
Two leagues, one program
Choose at registration: the North Ogden League (games in North Ogden & Pleasant View) or the Farr West League (games in the Farr West area). Older groups (U13+) may play across both areas.
Co-ed at the top
U15 and older play in a combined, co-ed league — the perfect way to keep playing with friends through high school.
Volunteer coaches welcome
Our teams are led by parent volunteers. Check the volunteer-as-coach box when registering and email us — we'll get you set up. Coach registration opens June 1.
Thinking competitive?
If your player has their eye on competitive soccer, email admin@swatsoccer.com — and hold off on rec registration until tryouts are done and you've chosen a league.
