RULES OF THE GAME

U4/U5 Boys & Girls

• Number of players on the field: 3v3

• No Goalies

• Size 3 Ball

• Use Pop Up goals.

• 8 Minute Quarters

• Free Subs at any stoppage in play. Play does not stop unless naturally occurring.

• No Corner Kicks, all out of bounds at the end lines result in a goal kick for the defending team. Other team will retreat to behind the half on a goal kick to eliminate “cherry picking” goals. 

• Throw-ins for out-of-bounds on the sidelines.

• No Off-side rule

• No heading the Ball

• No Slide Tackles

• Coaches time and ref the game. Keep the games flowing with minimal stops

• Only 1 Coach from each team on the field at a time

• The home team sits on the North or West side of the field(depending on which way the field runs)- Away team sits on South or East side
